On March 11, the electoral process was officially launched in two newly established communities – Perechyn and Irshava – in Transcarpathian region. As you know, Perechyn community includes the city and the villages of Vorochovo, Zarichovo, Simerky, and Simeri. The villages of Sobatyno and Loza joined Irshava community.
Therefore, in accordance with the Resolution of the CEC №6 dd. January 24, 2017, new deputies and heads will be elected in the newly created communities. The voting will take place on Sunday, April 30.
According to the schedule, posted on the website of the CEC, the electoral process was officially launched on March 11.
On March 27, the process of nomination of candidates for deputies, candidates for the mayors begins. The candidates should submit documents to election commissions by April 5. According to Part 2 of Article 54 of the Law of Ukraine "On Local Elections", candidates for deputies and for the position of village, town and city mayor have the right to start election campaign on the day following the day of the adoption of decision on registration of candidates by the relevant territorial election commission, – the OPORA Transcarpathia informs.
