New details on the shooting in Uzhgorod district

Thanks to vigilant citizens, a resident of the village Khudlyovo, who shot his relative, has been arrested.
Recall that on February 6, the police received a report that in the village of Khudlyovo in Uzhgorod district, a man had suffered a gunshot wound. Law enforcement officials found out that an altercation had arisen between two relatives living in neighboring homes. During the conflict, a 62-year-old resident of the village of Khudlyovo fired a shotgun at a 60-year-old man. The victim with a non-penetrating gunshot wound was hospitalized.
The police started searching for the suspect. Within hours, officers of the Uzhgorod district police department found out that the man was probably hiding in a forest area near the village. In addition, law enforcement officers found out that he had visited his fellow villagers to ask about the injured relative.
The man was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. He confessed to the crime. Investigators are now interviewing him, – the Transcarpathian police department informs.
