New “business”: jacket thief

According to the communications department of the Transcarpathian regional police, in Uzhgorod, the police caught a man who had stolen a passport from a "Mitsubishi" and a jacket from a "Jaguar".

Officers of the Uzhgorod Police Department identified a serial car burglar in the regional center of Transcarpathia. The police began criminal proceedings.

Operatives of the Uzhgorod police department found out that the 37-year-old resident of Uzhgorod, who is suspected of a series of thefts in Uzhgorod, was involved in two more similar crimes. The police gathered the evidence and proved that on November 4, the man had broken the rear glass in a "Mitsubishi Pajero" and stolen a briefcase with a passport of a citizen of Ukrain, a travel passport and the identification code of the owner. 

In addition, law enforcement officers found out that the same man was involved in an offense on October 12. Then, the suspect damaged the glass on a "Jaguar" doors and stole a jacket.

Criminal proceedings over both incidents have been initiated under Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation continues.
