New bus stops, road signs, etc. – Uzhgorod city council considered transport issues

Yesterday, at the regular meeting of the committee on road safety and coordination of transportation in Uzhgorod city council, the deputies considered more than a dozen issues. 
In particular, they decided to dismantled traffic constraints, during the reconstruction of the area near the high-rise building at Tolstoy str., 31. Also, they decided to consider further the issue of expediency of pedestrian crossing arrangement and installation of a road sign on at Lehotsky str., 60 and at the intersection of Dostoevsky-Zankovetska streets, which was suggested by the City Council deputies Volodymyr Bilonka, Vitaly Gotra and Andriy Ryba.

And today the members of the committee visited the both addresses and concluded that pedestrian crossing, road signs and markings are needed, in particular on Zankovetska-Dostoevsky intersection, where many children go to the school №19 and the gymnasium. They also considered the issue suggested by Andriy Ryba – on the installation of a bus stop opposite the house №2 on Dostoevsky street.
As for the installation of traffic signs, traffic constraints and a pedestrian crossing on Bachinskiy street, as well as the installation of constraints and an appropriate road sign on Dokuchev street, the committee members during considered it inexpedient. They also denied in installation of information signs at Peremoha st., 92 and 94.
