The publication was funded from the city comprehensive program of culture and arts development in 2016 for a total amount of 9,300 UAH. The order on the publication of the collection of city poets "Mukachevo. Lyrical portrait" was signed by the Mayor Andriy Baloha.
The collection was compiled by a known ethnographer, writer, honorary citizen of Mukachevo Vasyl Pahyrya and poet, the head of the literary association "Ridne Slovo", the winner of the city Yu. Meyhesh literary prize Mykhailo Shushkevich.
The collection features 139 works of 41 Mukachevo poets of all ages.
