On March 1, the bilateral meeting with the Deputy Secretary of State for Regional and Border Cooperation of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Peter Kiss-Partiu and the Ambassador of Hungary to Ukraine Istvan Iygyarto took place at the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. Ukrainian party was headed by the Deputy Minister for European Integration Victor Dovhan. Representatives of the Ukrzaliznytsya and Ukravtodor also took part in it.
During the meeting, important issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, first of all, the current situation regarding infrastructure projects of the Framework Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of Hungary on the provision of a loan, which was signed on November 24, 2016 in Budapest:

Regarding the train Mukachevo-Budapest, it was emphasized that in December 2018 the train was launched and now they are actively working to reduce the train travel time from 7 to 6 hours.
The Hungarian party stated that a feasibility study on the construction of a new bridge across the Tisa river near the city of Chop would be developed and, after 2020, the funding for its construction would be found.
