The policeman, who parked the car near the supermarket "Silpo" on Mynaiska street in Uzhgorod, was brought to administrative responsibility.
At the initiative of the chief of Uzhgorod city police colonel Roman Stefanyshyn, an official into the matter was conducted.
During the investigation, it was found that on June 29, 2015, around 19.00, the city police officer indeed parked a police car "Toyota Prius" near the supermarket "Silpo" on Mynayska street, in Uzhgorod. This was reported by Uzhgorod city police.
For violation of transport discipline, the police officer was brought to administrative liability under paragraph 15.9 (stopping-parking) of the Traffic Rules of Ukraine. An administrative penalty in the form of 255 UAH fine was imposed on him.
In addition, for violation of regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region regarding the compliance with transport discipline, according to Part 1 of Article 12 of the Law of Ukraine "On Disciplinary statute of the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine," the police officer received oral reprimand.
Recall that the incident, which was widely spread in the media and social networks, occurred on Monday, June 29, around 19.00 Police officers in a car with service license plates and corresponding labels parked at the space reserved for disabled near the supermarket "Silpo" on Mynaiska street in Uzhgorod. The police arrived aat the place call, but negligence does not relieve anyone from responsibility.
