Nearly four dozen musicians took part in the Street Piano Festival in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

The Street Piano Festival is taking place in the "Owl’s Nest" Cultural and Historical Center. On the occasion of the Day of Uzhgorod and celebration of the 100th anniversary of the city’s official name, numerous Uzhgorod citizens and guests gathered to enjoy piano music.

According to Inga Bondarenko, the founder and organizer of the Music Development Studio "Musical Step", the music event is taking place in Uzhgorod for the fourth time, albeit after a short hiatus. This time, nearly four dozen musicians of all ages registered to participate in the Street Piano Festival.

To avoid the risk of bad weather, it was decided to hold the festival in the "Owl’s Nest".

So, for three hours, diverse children’s pieces, classical music, contemporary works from well-known films, and, of course, Ukrainian national music was performed in the "Owl’s Nest". The winners received certificates and gifts from Uzhgorod City Council.
