Hungarian customs officers detained in a truck, that had come from Ukraine, contraband 125,002 packs of cigarettes and 916 kilograms of raw amber.
This was reported by the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko on his page on Facebook.
"Investigator of the Transcarpathian regional prosecution office notified the chief inspector of the customs post "Tisa" V. Bercha, who executed customs clearance of the vehicle, that he is suspected of a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art.364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, a motion for a pretrial restraint in the form of detention has been filed" – he wrote in the statement.
Currently the management of the post and department "Tisa" are suspended from duties.
