Nearly 70,000 Transcarpathian families are already receiving housing subsidies

As of October 23, more than 69 thousand families are receiving housing subsidies in Transcarpathia. During the week the number of subsidies recipients has increased by 10,000. This was announced by the Director of the Social Welfare Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hanna Morozyuk.

"All the social welfare agencies of Transcarpathia, given the increase in prices and tariffs for housing and utilities, are ready to help in receiving subsidies to all who need it, – Hanna Morozyuk said. – We therefore urge all, who have not yet applied to the social welfare for subsidies, to do so as soon as possible."

According to Hanna Morozyuk, the average size of subsildies appointed in September was 116.1 hryvnia, the average income per person in households, who received subsidy, amounted to 1779.5 hryvnia.

By the way, the social welfare service of the region have started to transfer all housing subsidies for the heating season. In such circumstances, the average size of the subsidies will be much higher – Hanna Morozyuk added.
