Near Uzhgorod, a petrol truck driver from Odesa died at a gas station

On September 24, at 20:34, the rescue service received a call from workers of one of the gas stations on the bypass road of Uzhgorod. They reported that a petrol truck driver, after draining gasoline into the gas station tank, decided to check the remaining product in the truck tank, went inside and lost consciousness due to the fuel vapors.

Rescuers of the special-purpose emergency and rescue detachment arrived at the scene and extracted the man from the tank but he was already dead. The victim was a resident of the Odesa region born in 1974.

The cause of death will be established by law enforcement agencies, the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region reported.
