Yesterday, border guards of the Chop Detachment, at the site of the Border Guard Service Department "Velyky Berezny" detained a citizen of Ukraine, who tried to illegally cross the Ukrainian-Slovak border and then get to Germany.
Thus, while monitoring the state boder, at a distance of about 1,000 meters from the border line, border guards noticed an unknown person trying to overcome the barrage fence. Wasting no time, the border guards immediately took measures to arrest the violator.
The violator was a 34-year-old woman, a citizen of Ukraine, a resident of Odesa region. The detainee had ID. In addition, the woman confessed that she had the intention to illegally cross the border and get to Germany.
Currently, the relevant procedural documents were drawn up against the detainee. Her further fate will be decided in court.
