Yesterday, an accident happened near the village of Hlyboke. At 16.20, a resident of Uzhgorod, driving a car "Mercedes Benz", committed a head-on collision with a minibus "Volkswagen T4".
As a result of the accident, the driver of the "Mercedes" suffered polytrauma, brain contusion, open fracture of the left tibia with displacement, 2nd and 3rd degree traumatic shock, and a passenger of this car suffered the left forearm soft tissue contusion. A female passenger the minibus suffered multiple bruises of both legs and a male passenger of this vehicle suffered bruised chest, nasal bone fracture.
The driver of the "Mercedes" was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of Uzhgorod Central City Hospital and passengers of the minibus after receiving medical care in the regional hospital were discharged home.
Both vehicles were taken to impound lot of Uzhgorod District Police.
