The National Bank of Ukraine may abolish currency restrictions for investors after receipt of the funds from the International Monetary Fund.
This was announced by by the head of the foreign exchange transactions and financial markets analysis department of the NBU Serhiy Ponomarenko, the "Interfax-Ukraine" reported.
"The positive trends will begin in March. It will be a flow of funds from the IMF, which will give confidence to investors. And then, there will be several steps to lift restrictions for investors so that they are free to invest," – Ponomarenko said.
