National guards and special equipment were sent to Transcarpathia

National Guard members have already started patrolling in Vynogradiv district of Transcarpathian region. 
The National Guard Mobile Reserve have started patrolling in Transcarpathian region. The primary goal of their activities will be to enhance the safety of holidaymakers during the holiday season in mountainous regions, – the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs.
In total, 60 servicemen are involved in patrolling. National guardsmen of the mountain patrol company will monitor public order both in the city and in the mountainous area of the district during the day and at night. 
The servicemen have been provided with special equipment to perform the tasks in remote mountainous areas: 
ATVs; 
snowmobiles; 
skis; 
mountain equipment. 
The National Guard members will also be using thermal imagers and night vision devices. Special forces and a helicopter are included in the mobile reserve to respond quickly in case of emergency.
