TSN correspondent in the Transcarpathian region Natalia Zotova worked next to the house in the yard of which is probably laid the tunnel through the Ukrainian-Slovak border. The journalist recorded the so-called ‘Stand Up’.
‘I recorded ‘stand up’ when a jeep came from nowhere. He barred the way between me and the operator, started to ride up and down and honk – said Natalia to uzhgorod.in, – of course I stretched microphone toward the driver and asked: ‘What are you doing?’. The driver pulled out of my hands the wireless microphone and ‘revved up’.
The jeep was detained by law enforcement officers, who were next to the house. The microphone was returned. Natalia Zotova writes a statement to the police.
Note: Yesterday Slovak customs officers revealed near the border the tunnel, which unites two countries and was used to transport cigarettes. Court’s decision to search private homes on the territory of Ukraine from which probably begins the tunnel is waited in Uzhgorod.
