The DEC re-counted the votes for Uzhgorod city council deputies or, to be precise, revised the protocols of election commissions.
And changes did take place.
After the recount, the number of representatives of the "Nash Krai" in Uzhgorod city council decreased, and the number of representatives of the party "Patriot" increased.
According to the chairman of Uzhgorod city territorial election commission Yakiv Chornobuk, the commission re-counted the ballots pursuant to court ruling.
Around 23:00 on November 12, they signed a protocol of vote recount and announced the result.
According to the recount, the difference was about 500 ballots in favor of the "Patriot". The party "Nash Krai" lost the votes, – the Ukrainska Pravda informs.
According to the new count, representatives of nine political forces were elected to Uzhgorod city council: three deputies from each of the "Batkivshchyna", the party "United Center", the European party, the "Samopomich" and the "Nash Krai", five deputies from the "Patriot", nine from the "Vidrodzhennya", five from the "BPP "Solidarnist", two from the KMKS (Party of Hungarians of Ukraine).
In general, according to Chornobuk, 36,770 Uzhgorod residents cast their votes for the parties that received the support of more than 5% of voters.
2,654 ballots were invalidated by the commission.
