Narcissus Valley almost burned down because of burning of dry grass (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

The SES of Transcarpathia reported about the fire in the territory of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve "Narcissus Valley".

According to the rescuers, yesterday, March 27, at about 4:35 pm, the Rescue Service received a report of the burning of dry grass and shrubs on the territory of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve "Narcissus Valley" near Khust.

At about 19:08, the fire in the Narcissus Valley was eliminated by Khust fire fighters and the reserve workers.

Fortunately, one of the natural wonders of Transcarpathia was saved.

Rescuers once again remind the Transcarpathians of the danger of dry grass burning.

"Stop the practice of ‘fire’ cleaning and do something useful. After all, fire knows no pity and can destroy not only trash but also the unique nature," – the SES urges.
