The culprit of the high-profile accident in Khust district, which killed a woman and her daughter, was returned to Ukraine. Pavlo Nahirny is in custody.
At the request of the regional prosecutors, Pavlo Nahirny, according to the procedure of extradition, was delivered by the Hungarian party to representatives of law enforcement bodies of Ukraine – the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region reported.
Pavlo Nahirny is reasonably suspected of having caused the tragic accident, which resulted in the death of a 32-year-old woman and her daughter, as well as two children being seriously injured (Part 3 of Art.286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Nahirny was avoiding justice, was put on the international wanted list, and on April 6, through the coordinated efforts of law enforcement agencies was arrested in the Hungarian capital – the city of Budapest.
Currently he is in custody, and, prior to the extradition to Ukraine, by the court decision, in Budapest he was also under the supervision of law enforcement.
