Yesterday, the presentation of the book by Mykhailo Lyubar "Bald Mountain" took place in Uzhgorod City Library. This is the first published book of the author. The book was published by the publishing house "Patent" in 2017.
The novel "Bald Mountain" describes the real events of 1941-1944 during World War II based on eyewitnesses’ stories. The fighting behind enemy lines in Vinnytsia region, life of a guerrilla group, the struggle for the liberation of Ukraine from fascist invaders. The novel is intended for a wide range of readers.
The writer shared the memories of what inspired him to write this novel, what interesting stories occurred during writing. Particularly warm and sincere were the words of his son Victor Lyubar about the father. It was his father who brought him in the spirit of patriotism and love for his native land.
Uzhgorod State Music School prepared a musical gift for this event.
