Musicians are preparing for the grand concert “Mass Revived” (PHOTOS)

This is the rehearsal before the concert "Mass Revived."  Each of the musicians is preparing very carefully.

Until now, the piece written 70 years ago has not been performed in this interpretation. Members of the choir "Cantus" remember the first performance of the piece by Istvan Marton when he was still alive in the 1990s in the Transcarpathian Art Museum.  But the concert to be held in the building of the architect Krupka (the lobby of the Transcarpathian RSA) has already been announced as a grand art historical event.

  The initiator of the concert, conductor and artistic director of the Academic Chamber Choir "Cantus" Emil Sokach said that the preparation for the project was long – more than two decades. To ensure the best performance of the premiere of the revived "Mass" by Transcarpathian composer Istvan Marton, he invited musicians of the Symphony Orchestra of Lviv Philharmonic and singers from Switzerland to perform together with the "Cantus".  And tomorrow, at 17.00, we will be able to witness this fruitful and invaluable collaboration.
