October 1 is the International Day of Music. Of course, the musicians of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic are not going to ignore their professional holiday: they are trying to come up with some special concert programs that would be a real aesthetic pleasure for both the listeners and the performers themselves. And this time, music fans will have something new and interesting: Agnesa Bachinska-Maroshan (flute) will present her solo program accompanied by the pop and brass band of the Philharmonic.
The program, which Agnesa Bachinska-Maroshan will present on October 1 at the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, is a kind of an excursion to various historical epochs. The artist wants to break the stereotype that the flute is only for classical works, and will try to demonstrate it as an instrument capable of adorning any genre – from classical to jazz, from Latin-American rhythms to pop music. And the pop and brass of the Philharmonic under the direction of the Honored Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Spivak will help her to do this. The presenter – Katerina KERECHANYN. The beginning is at 17.00.
