Music without borders. The third concert – “Crossing Europe” (Annoucement)

The III International Festival "Music without borders" in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic continues. And on April 23, the concert of the Symphony Orchestra of students of Uzhgorod State Music College will take place as part of the festival. 

Young musicians will present the audience the program "Crossing Europe". The concert starts at 18.30. The hosts will also be the college students Vira TYMOCHKO and Mykhailo CHEDRYK.

Here’s how the director of the orchestra Victoria TSANKO commented on this event: "Our Student Symphony Orchestra will take part in this festival for the first time. For my students, playing on the stage of the Philharmonic, along with well-known and experienced musicians is a very important event and a great responsibility. But we will present a very interesting program – a kind of a journey to many European countries made with the help of the best pieces of classical symphonic music. We plan to add some surprises to our performance. Hopefully this will be a good experience for our young musicians. Although, the Student Symphony Orchestra has already received this year diplomas at three international competitions held in Switzerland, France and Italy. This is a great incentive for future professional musicians: they see prospects, a chance to express themselves, to realize their own creative plans."
