“Music unites the country” as part of the weekend concerts (Announcement)

The "Weekend Music" project in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic continues.

While untill now it have been individual performers and artistic groups of the Philharmonic that presented their concerts to Uzhgorod residents and visitors, now it was decided to give the best stage of the region to young musicians: June 7, the winner of international and national contests, the winner of the regional award named after D.Ye.Zador, the Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Uzhgorod State Musical College named after D.Ye.Zador invites for the program "MUSIC UNITES THE COUNTRY." Artistic director and conductor of the orchestra is Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine Svitlana Stehney.

Soloists: People’s Artist of Ukraine Petro Matiy (baritone), Honored Artists of Ukraine Etella Chupryk (piano) and Svitlana Hleba (soprano), the winner of the national competition Andriy Mendzhul (dulcimer).

The concert starts at 17.00. The program is rich and varied: from Ukrainian symphonic and operatic music to jazz and popular international hits.
