Music of the revolution. Today, the Assembly on Narodna Square was accompanied by a piano (PHOTOS)

Several hundred people – Uzhgorod residents and Transcarpathians – gathered on Narodna Square for the People’s Assembly.

It began with a piano music – on the "revolutionary piano", specially brought to the barricades, they performed the anthem of Ukraine in full – all its verses. Actually, the music-playing has been taking place since the morning…

Then, Euromaidan activists, local leaders and politicians spoke to the people. They talked about the prospects for changes, Ukrainians are struggling for, the opposition to the authorities, local People’s Councils. 

Most of the participants were middle-aged; young people, students were few. But among the participants of the assembly, there were representatives of different districts of Transcarpathia.

Stands with faces of local depities, recently set up on the barricades, also attract attention.

And yesterday, recall, the first united Transcarpathian Automaidan made a trip across the region.
