Today, members of the City Council decided to establish a municipal institution – "Mukachevo Drama Theatre" (Cyril and Methodius Sq., 1). Also, they approved the charter and structure of the new institution. The theater will be situated in the building, which belongs to the territorial community of Mukachevo.
The financial department of the Executive Committee of Mukachevo City Council was instructed to provide for the funds from the city budget to finance the municipal institution.
The deputies also terminated the right of the Transcarpathian Regional Drama and Comedy Theater for operational management of the municipal property and terminated the contract for allocation of the property owned by the territorial community – the building located at: Mukachevo, Cyril and Methodius Sq., 1 – and removed it from the operational management of this institution.
The building was transferred to the balance sheet of the Department of Culture of the Eexecutive Committee of Mukachevo City Council.
