Mukachevo Welcomes Evacuees from Donetsk, Including 19 Children

Zakarpattia has welcomed another evacuation train carrying 44 people, including 19 children. At the railway station in Mukachevo, they were met by government officials, representatives of public organizations, rescuers, and medics to help the newly arrived evacuees adjust to their new living conditions. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zakarpattia region.

The evacuees were warmly greeted, their luggage was carried, they were fed, and then they were transported by buses to temporary housing.

“The enemy has destroyed their homes and cities, but could not extinguish their faith in the future and hope for good. Now the displaced people from Donetsk have found a new home — perhaps not their own, but a safe one,” the SES stated in the report.
