On February 23, at 14.00, an open excursion on Hungarian painter of German origin Munkácsy Mihály will be held in Mukachevo.

The gathering is in front of the Mukachevo Drama Theater.
Munkácsy Mihály (real name Michael von Lieb) was born on February 20, 1844 in Mukachevo to the family of a low-ranking official, a German von Lieb. With the permission of the Munkacs (then name of Mukachevo) community, he was given the name Munkacsy. Source.
