Mukachevo prosecutors are establishing the circumstances of the month-old baby’s death

As previously reported, on June 12, at 4 o’clock, at the Regional Children’s Hospital in Mukachevo, the doctors stated the death of a one-month-old baby.

The investigative team of Mukachevo City Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region found out the on June 9, the mother had brought the baby with bruises on the back of the head from Irshava district to the Regional Children’s Hospital.

Then, three days later the baby died with a diagnosis of "severe closed head injury."

"The criminal proceeding into the death of a baby B. has been registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations. Now the circumstances of the incident are being established. The results of preliminary investigation are to be announced" – the prosecutor of Mukachevo, Senior Counselor of Justice R. Bilovar said.
