Mukachevo patrol policemen took neglected children from a drunk mother to the hospital

Yesterday, during a night patrol, Mukachevo policemen received a call to Yaroslav Mudry street. The applicant stated that he had noticed a small child, who was on the street at night without adult supervision. Having reached the reported address, the policemen also found in the yard of a house near the location of the child a woman who was in a state of extreme intoxication.

As the patrol policemen found out, the 29-year-old woman is the mother of two children, the other 2-year-old girl was in the house. As the woman was in an inadequate state and had left the two young children unattended, the policemen decided to take them to the emergency department of the Children’s Hospital.

After examination of the woman in Mukachevo district hospital, the policemen took her home. The police inspector on children matters of Mukachevo police department has taken over the case of the children and improper performance of parental responsibilities.
