Mukachevo patrol policemen detained a thief from Ivano-Frankivsk

On July 2, in the afternoon, a crew of Mukachevo policemen was patrolling Dukhnovich street. 

Around 11:30, they noticed a man. The 29-year-old resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region was behaving suspiciously and nervously. The patrol policemen started a conversation with the young man, trying to determine the cause of such behavior. During the conversation, the man admitted that on June 28 around 18:30 he had stolen a large sum of money from a currency exchange point in Ivano-Frankovsk.

The patrol policemen responded immediately and took the man to the Mukachevo police department to clarify the circumstances of the crime. They contacted officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of Ivano-Frankivsk police and the management of the robbed exchange point. As the patrol policemen later found out, the arrested citizen was wanted for theft. The patrol policemen handed over the offender to Ivano-Frankivsk investigators. They will investigate the case further.
