The city chose the manufacturer, that has already produced artificial Christmas trees for 64 local councils in Ukraine. The tree frame looks like a cone with tiers in the form of rings. Christmas tree branches are attached to the rings, creating an analog of rather thick needles. This model, that has been installed in the city, is easy to install and store, its service life is more than 10 years.
The city bought the tree in two phases. First, they purchased the 15-meter-high metal frame of the Christmas tree. Its cost is over 190,000 UAH. The second phase is the needles for the Christmas tree and light controller for lights costing almost 120,000 UAH.
The official opening of the Christmas tree is scheduled for December 18.
