Traditionally, invited representatives of law enforcement agencies and public organizations visited the boarding lyceum.
The guests of honor, as always, were our spiritual mentors of the Mukachevo Orthodox Diocese, led by His Eminence Metropolitan Theodore.
The head of the boarding lyceum, Colonel Yuriy Zakharov, congratulated the staff of the lyceum on the holiday and noted:
“Today, the boarding lyceum is a rather ambitious, educational and innovative institution that keeps pace with the times, boldly introducing innovative forms of education and progressive educational models. And although the lyceum is still too young to boast of the ministers and generals that have graduated from it, I’m sure this time is not far off!". During his speech, Colonel Yuriy Zakharov called on all present to honor the memory of the first head of the lyceum – Colonel Oleksandr Halchenko.
According to the tradition that has developed over the years, on the day of the establishment of the boarding lyceum, freshmen wore their first shoulder straps – lyceum students’ shoulder straps and for the first time took a solemn oath.
