Mukachevo kindergartens are being equipped with salt rooms. At present, the arrangement of the salt room is completed in the preschool educational institution number 5, which is located on Yaroslav Mudry street. The room is equipped with a halogenerator, four medical benches are to be installed. Also, the walls of the room are covered with salt tile.

At the expense of the funds from the city budget, a major repair of the isolator and medical room was carried out in the secondary school №5. Salt therapy (halotherapy) is one of the best non-drug therapies for catarrhal diseases, respiratory diseases, neurosis, and anxiety. Children react to it very well. Halotherapy is especially good for preschoolers, who often suffer from SARS, have suffered acute bronchitis and pneumonia. It is also an effective prevention and treatment of allergy. The preventive procedures of salt therapy in the autumn and spring period allow to reduce the incidence of SARS and influenza.
