Mukachevo is preparing to celebrate St. Martin’s Day (ANNOUNCEMENT)

The patron saint of the city, St. Martin, will be honored in Mukachevo on November 9-11.

This was reported by the press service of Mukachevo City Council on Facebook.

"The Day of St. Martin – the patron saint of the city – will be celebrated in Mukachevo. The program of the celebrations includes themed photozone and gastrolocation (with fried apples and geese, chestnuts, honey and wine) in the city center, opening of the first barrel of new wine in front of the town hall and the traditional "Lantern March", – the report says.

On Sunday, November 10, a solemn worship service will be held at St. Martin’s Cathedral Church.

In addition, the festival of spiritual music Martin Music Fest will be held in the three largest cathedrals in the city.  Local and foreign choirs will perform spiritual music.
