In Mukachevo, a fire occurred on Vozyednannya Street. Local people reported it to the rescue service. Flames engulfed a residential apartment with the 84-year-old owner inside.
Three firefighter crews were sent to eliminate the fire – two trucks from the 17th State Fire and Rescue Unit and one truck from the 19th State Fire and Rescue Unit. When the firefighters entered the smoky apartment, they found the elderly owner in the corridor. They took her out and handed over to paramedics.
In total, 10 personnel members and 2 vehicles were engaged.
The law enforcement are establishing the cause of the fire. The damages are also being established as the fire destroyed the window and the door of the apartment and 8 cubic meters of trash. However, the firefighters managed to save the nearby buildings from destruction.
