On May 7, 2018, Mukachevo Greek Catholic Eparchy and the Transcarpathian Division of the Plast signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The signing took place at the Bishops’ Residence in the Cathedral in Uzhgorod.
The signing of the Memorandum was attended by Plast members from Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and Khust, and from the Mukachevo Eparchy – Bishop Milan Shashik, Fr. Benjamin, Fr. Ivan Furik, as well as parents, friends and supporters of the Plast.
Afterwards, the parties exchanged gifts: the Plast members gave the Bishop books on the history of Plast in Transcarpathia, Plast martyrology and other publications, as well as a corresponding letter on the occasion of the signing. And Bishop Milan in turn gave the Plast members the icon of the Holy Trinity.
After the signing, Bishop Milan and art critic Mykhailo Pryimych conducted for the Plast members a tour of the Bishops’ Residence.
