Last night, in the city on Latorica, unknown persons cut down the symbol of the Soviet era – a five-pointed star, Panorama Mukachevo informed.
This is not the firs incident associated with the memorial complex, because a few days ago, on the same pedestal someone erased the inscription "Glory to Russian arms."
Recall that the issue of the relocation of the monument to the soldiers of World War II stirred Mukachevo community and divided it into supporters and opponents of its presence in the downtown area.
