Mukachevo corrupted teacher was sentenced to 5 years in prison

A teacher of Mukachevo State University was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for obtaining undue advantage from students.

Recently, Mukachevo court sentenced a teacher of Mukachevo State University, who was charged with a criminal offense under Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, ie obtaining undue advantage.
 
At the trial, the prosecutor proved that the teacher had receiving from students undue advantage totalling 4,600 UAH for the successful completion of the training and passing of the exam.
The prosecutor asked to sentence the teacher to imprisonment for 5 years with disqualification to hold positions with organizational and regulatory, administrative and economic functions.
 
By the verdict of Mukachevo City and District Court the teacher of Mukachevo State University was convicted of having committed a criminal offense under Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment, pursuant to Art. 75 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, he was exempted from punishment with 2 years probation and disqualification to hold office with organizational and regulatory, administrative and economic functions for one year.
