Every year, a million hryvnias will be allocated from the city budget for compensation under loan agreements. For this purpose, the city authorities have developed and adopted a program for encouraging the activities of small and medium-sized businesses for 2018-2020.
The maximum loan term for entrepreneurs will be no more than three years, and the amount of compensation for interest on the loan at the expense of the city budget will be no more than 100 thousand. Compensation will be provided for a portion of the interest rate on a loan received by the borrower in amount of 10 percent per annum.
Under the terms of the program, loans are granted to small and medium-sized businesses on the basis of business plan for the purchase of equipment, machinery; modernization of technological process of goods production and provision of services in order to reduce their cost; introduction of energy efficiency technologies into the production process and provision of services; development of new types of products (goods, works, services).
Borrowers, who do not have wage arrears and co-finance the investment project at their own expense in the amount of not less than 20 percent of its cost, are eligible for compensation.
Selection of small and medium business is conducted on a competitive basis.
