Mukachevo boys choir toured Croatia (PHOTOS)

From 1 to 5 of July, Mukachevo choir was giving concerts in Osijek at the invitation of the Tambourine school «Batorek».

The two groups and their managers, Volodymyr Volontyr and Franjo Batorek met in France at the international music festival «Eurochestries» in August 2013. 

The choir’s concert held in Osijek, in the church of St.Cyril and Methodius was a great success.         

The boys visited the zoo, swam in the pool, admired the magnificent architecture of the city in the Art Nouveau style, were impressed by traces of bullets on the facades of buildings reminding of the recent war in 1991-1995, which the Croatian people bravely endured.

 
On July 5-6, the choir members visited the capital of Croatia – Zagreb.

Singing in a grand cathedral, viewing the panorama of the city from the tower, walks in the old town to parliamentary and presidential palaces, all that will long remain in their memory.

The concert of the choir of boys and young men in Zagreb culture center «Maksimir» caused a storm of applause and the desire of the public to meet with the choir in Zagreb next year.

The last two days, the choir spent on the island of Krk.

Swimming in the Adriatic Sea, wonderful town of Punat with green parks and gardens, friendly staff of the hostel «Halugice» pleased all members of the choir.

Returning home, they traditionally rested in the water park in the Hungarian town of Nyíregyháza.

On 10-14 of September 2014, Mukachevo choir of boys and young men will receive in Mukachevo the Tambourine Orchestra «Batorek».  Residents of Mukachevo will be the first in Ukraine to hear this unique group.
