Mukachevo border guards found smuggled cigarettes for nearly 9000 hryvnia

Today, April 13, at 5:30 the guards of the border guard service ‘Vylok’ discovered and seized seven boxes of cigarettes on distance 150 m to the state border. That was a Ukrainian citizen who tried to smuggle cigarettes to the neighboring Hungary.

Detained law-breaker and seized cigarettes, whose cost Tchop customs experts estimated in 8000 970 hryvnia, were delivered to the unit for the drafting of an administrative offense provided by Art.202 and Art. 204 p.1 of Code of Ukraine on administrative violations.

Court will soon give its assessment of the detainee’s actions – the press service of Mukachevo border detachment.
