Mukachevo and Mizhhirya district have new prosecutors

Today, September 2, at the office of the Prosecutor of Transcarpathian region, there was the official introduction of prosecutors of Mukachevo and Mizhhirya districts.

August 30, by orders of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Oleg Opishnyaka was appointed as the prosecutor of Mukachevo district, and Serhiy Zovdun – as the prosecutor of Mizhhirya district.

 Serhiy Zovdun started his career as the assistant of Beregovo interdistrict prosecutor. From 2007 to 2009 he worked as a prosecutor of the department for supervision of the observance of laws by the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Customs Service and the State Border Service of the Office for supervision over the observance of laws by bodies that conduct search activity, inquiry and preliminary investigations of the Prosecution of Transcarpathian region. He continued his career as the Khust inter-district deputy prosecutor and Vynogradiv district deputy prosecutor.

 

Oleg Opishnyak in 1997 completed his postgraduate course at the National Law Academy of Ukraine, and then started working in the prosecution.

 At various times he held positions in Rakhiv District Prosecutor’s office, the Deputy Prosecutor of Uzhgorod and Transcarpathian Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor. Since 2007, he has worked on various positions at the Prosecutor’s office in Transcarpathian region. Until now, he has worked as a senior prosecutor inf Transcarpathian region in charge of homeland security.

In 2011 he was awarded with an appreciation of the second degree for his devoted service in the prosecution bodies.
