Mozart’s music will be performed on the main stage of the region again (Announcement)

On March 30, the soloist of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, People’s Artist of Ukraine Etella Chupryk will play her favorite instrument. It will be the last concert of WA Mozart piano sonatas cycle initiated by our compatriot. The idea of ​​this project was conceived the last year. So during this concert season, we have been enjoying brilliant works of the great Austrian genius almost every month.

Etella Chupryk knows no rest in her quest for the heights of performing skills, the desire to convey to the listener the best gems of classical music. Bach and Beethoven, Liszt and Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Stravinsky – thanks to Etella Chupryk, Uzhgorod audience heard the music of those unsurpassed masters as never before. As for Mozart – the maestro of all time – our pianist has a special relationship with his music. The program includes the last four piano sonatas of the composer: № 16 in C major (KV 545), № 17 in B flat major (KV 570), № 18 in D major (KV 576) and № 19 in F major (KV 547A). Listeners will only have to enjoy the beautiful combination of music and talented performance. The event will be hosted by the music historian Natalia PITSUR.
