Road traffic will greatly enliven the economy of the neighboring resort districts.
In Mizhhirya district, the construction of two roads with soil surface continues. The first one will connect Kolochava and Nimetska Mokra from neighboring Tyachiv district. The forest road between the settlements was built in the 1970s – 1980s during the construction of the "Soyuz" pipeline. However, the road surface subsequently was damaged by trucks and destroyed by landslides, so it became unusable. During the working visit of Hennadiy Moskal to Tyachiv district in February this year, N.Mokra residents asked to restore the road, which would greatly revive the economy of the two mountainous districts. Numerous Czech tourists, who come to Kolochava, would be able to visit N.Mokra and villages of Ust-Chorna cluster, leading to the opening of new tourist centers. Now, a car trip from Kolochava to N.Mokra takes 170 km, while the length of the forest road will be only 7 kilometers.
The road will be put into operation this summer.
The other road, the construction of which is also in full swing, will connect Nyzhniy Studeny (Mizhhirya district) and Volosyanka (Skole district, Lviv region). The length is about 4 kilometers, the section leading from Lviv district to the administrative boder of Transcarpathia is being paved by Lviv workers, and from Nyzhniy Studeny to Volosyanka – by employees of the State Forestry Office in Transcarpathian region. The idea to connect the two resort areas in neighboring regions was suggested by Lviv authorities, but the work began only after they had received guarantees from the head of the RSA that Transcarpathia would also take part in the project on their side.
After the completion of the project, tourists from Slavske (Lviv region) will be able to visit camp sites of the Pylypets (Transcarpathia), where snow lasts much longer in winter. The opening of the road, which will also greatly enliven the economy of the two neighboring regions, is planned for mid-summer.
