The municipal police found fifty advertising media that are to be dismantled because they do not comply with the rules – they are not labeled properly.
The draft decision on dismantling is being considered at the executive committee meeting.
According to the representative of the municipal police Oleksandr Lozan, most of these billboards probably were installed without any permits. Members of the executive committee complain that the municipal police, it seems, did not list all illegal billboards. Therefore, they suggest to continue the inspection. The municipal police will be checking billboards for another month, and the owners of the questionabe ones will have two weeks to eliminate violations.
And Uzhgorod.in, in turn, also has a question: the document states that 490 advertising media have been checked, although it is obvious that in Uzhgorod there are over five hundred billboards.
