After a trip to Hungary, Moskal had an idea to launch another festival in Transcarpathia – a wedding festival.
The International Wedding Festival in the Hungarian town of Oyok, which was timed to the Days of Ukrainian-Hungarian Neighbourliness, took place, one can say, in extreme weather conditions – at a temperature of 38 degrees above zero!
However, the festival took place "in any weather" – the traditional Hungarian wedding with redemption of bride, singing, dancing and a feast with cabbage rolls was duly appreciated by all visitors, the press service of Hennadiy Moskal informed.
– The idea of the festival is very good, – the head of Transcarpathia Hennadiy Moskal, who also visited the Days of Neighbourliness in Oyok, noted. – I think a similar festival with the participation of all national minorities may be launched in Transcarpathia. I can even suggest the venue – Uzhgorod castle or the museum of architecture and folk life in Kolochava.
