Moskal: “I may look stupid, but I am actually very smart”

The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal told about the first steps in his new position and plans on the fight against corruption and meeting the target for mobilization.

The political situation in Transcarpathia

– I was surprised to see the Transcarpathian RSA guarded by people with guns. In Severodonetsk, on the front line, the administration was not guarded. This is not a military facility. I don’t need gunmen.

– The administration personnel is a total mess. Not a single head of administration was appointed in a legal manner. All were temporarily performing duties. Many heads of departments are not appointed, when I began to find out the reason it turned out that it is because there were not approved by a particular clan.

I believe that since yesterday, by the decree of the President of Ukraine, the state administration of the territory has been restored here, it is no longer run by clans as before.

– Documents for dismissal of 13 heads of administrations are already being prepared.Those, whose candidatures were agreed with clans, will also be dismissed. I am very determined.

The fight against smuggling

– We are closing the region for trucks with cigarettes and Afro-Ukrainians. Cars with temporary permits, which have been hanging around here for years, will be gone too.

– All those, who were smuggling cigarettes, who were involved in hooliganism, will have a very serious conversation with the military commissariat.

– There are no enemies here, enemies are there – on the front line. If I see anyone in balaklava, I will immediately send them to the military commissariat. Those, who wear uniform not being from the military, show in this way that they want to go to the front.

Legality of weapons

– Those, who have registered hunting weapons, must be checked. If these people have criminal records or have been involved in hooliganism, the permits should be canceled. According to the instructions, hunting weapons must be kept in a safe bolted to the wall or floor. It can be used for hunting only during a certain season and in a special case. If anyone does not agree, let them go to court. It will continue, until people realize that there is the law in Ukraine.

The Constitution stipulates many rights, but the main duty is to defend your country.

Willingness to restore order

– I have come from the ​​ATO area, now let them go there. I have experience fighting different gangs, and I am capable to deal with them here. I fear no one here. I have long crossed the Rubicon of fear.
