The head of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration, member of the Regional Council from the "Solidarnist" Hennadiy Moskal was seriously considering an option to chair the Regional Council and yesterday held talks about it.
.This was reported to our publication by one of the deputies of the presidential political force. In this regard, the "governor" held intensive talks not only with the loyal ally – "Vidrodzhennya", but also with representatives of the factions "Batkivshchyna" and "KMKS."
However, as of this morning, the agreed candidate is his deputy Mykhailo Rivis. It is planned to appoint a representative of the Hungarian party as the Deputy Chairman. The main intrigue of the day is how many votes "Solidarnist" manages to secure. Recall that the meeting ajourned last Thursday will start at 10 o’clock.
The election of the Chairman of Regional Council requires at least 33 votes. The voting is secret. Last week, a contender for the position, leader of the regional "Batkivshchyna" Oleksandr Kemenyash received only 32 votes, thus the Chairman of the Regional Council was not elected.
