The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal addressed to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman with a request to develop a government decree on the procedure of customs clearance of temporary importation of vehicles into the customs territory of Ukraine.
– In recent weeks, long queues at Transcarpathian checkpoints have become commonplace – H. Moskal wrote. – The holiday season continues and motorists have to stand in long lines to cross the border. The situation is aggravated because of cars with foreign registration staying in Transcarpathia in transit regime that have to cross the border every 5 days. Simplification of the customs clearance process will significantly accelerate border crossing and relieve the social tension in the border regions.
This issue can be solved by the regulation of the Cabinet on the procedure of customs clearance of temporary importation of vehicles into customs the territory of Ukraine.
